Two guys from the Chicago wine business gathered grapes from some of their favorite vineyards along the central coast of California, in order to make the Cabernet Sauvignon of their dreams and that they did. This dark-colored wine is loaded with black fruit and brown spice aromas. The palate has a rich, velvety feel, with generous amounts of ripe fruit, with an appealing earth note for balance. The wine's open-knit character makes it an ideal food wine, especially with roasted meats and casseroles. Right on target!
