This has all the varietal hallmarks with a floral, violet lift on the nose along with a subtle herbal, smoky character lifted with higher-pitched red currant and raspberry fruit. Medium bodied, there is a vibrant tone to the red berry fruit which is carried through the palate on a lively wave of acidity, accentuated by a touch of smokiness on the finish.
