Made from 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle, this is a classic white Bordeaux. Sauvignon Blanc provides racy acidity as well as the bulk of aromas and flavors, while Semillon offers fruitiness and body, tempering the often sharp acidity and personality of Sauvignon Blanc. The Muscadelle adds floral notes, making this overall a terrific value-priced white! Crisp and clean, it is fruity with flavors of green apple and citrus. The wine has elegance, purity and balance that far exceed its modest price.
