This field blend of three varieties comes from the single vineyard of Campolieti. The Righetti family has been making wines here since the late 19th century. As we have learned, this Veronese red is so much more than an uncomplicated quaff. Black-cherry nose with a raisiny complex of scents, medium body, and surprisingly flavorful. Its deep, round tastes are punctuated by a slightly bitter hint, delivered with a graceful lightness.
