Search
We search names and tasting notes. You can search on words in a wine name or in the tasting notes. For example, you can search on "Syrah" or "full bodied".
You can use partial words. If you are not sure of the spelling, use a partial word. If you're not sure if Lafite has one or two "t"s, enter "Lafit". Our tasting notes might contain "full bodied" or "full body", so searching on "full bod" will get you both. Now beware, not all wines have tasting notes, and in some cases, such as Syrah which is almost always full bodied, our tasting notes might not mention this.
Use the fewest number of words possible. Instead of searching for "Robert Mondavi", just search for "Mondavi" because we may have abbreviated Robert as "Rbt." or "R".
Not case sensitive. Searches are not case sensitive, so it doesn't matter if you capitalize properly. So Lafite, lafite, lAfItE, and LAFITE will all work.
Punctuation is ignored. Don't worry if it is "Mouton-Rothschild", "Mouton Rothschild", "full-bodied", or "full bodied".
Automatic "and" queries. By default, we return items that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms. Keep in mind that the order in which the terms are typed will affect the search results.
Phrase searches. Sometimes you'll only want results that include an exact phrase. In this case, click the button that says "With this exact phrase".
Broaden your search. Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape. If you want to find both, enter both and click on the button "With any of these words".
