Frog's Leap is located in Rutherford, in Napa Valley, and uses organically-grown grapes. The winery was founded by John Williams in 1981 and he has been making wine ever since. Their Merlot has mouth-filling flavors of cherry and currants laced with hints of cigar box and dried herbs. Medium bodied and smooth in texture, the rich fruit core is balanced by delicate acidity and plush tannins that offer a lingering finish.
